Two Roots Alpacas and Fiber Mill

Nestled against the mountains of NE Tennessee, Two Roots Farm includes an alpaca ranch, a fiber mill and a hobby vineyard. The name "Two Roots" was derived from our diverse backgrounds of the deep south and way up north (Canada). We purchased the property in 2013 as a retirement location (we are still waiting for the retirement to start) and have planted vines, built barns and fences, raised some very spoiled alpacas.

The Alpacas

Our alpacas or as our neighbors refer to them, long necked goats, are raised primarily for their luxurious fiber which is made into lovely all natural products. We offer tours by appointment year around. You can mingle among the alpacas (and get kisses from JoJo) and give Leo ,the guard llama, a neck rub. Angel will always greet everyone but she does have a preference for men.

The Fiber Mill

The fiber mill provides us the ability to create artisan products from the fiber of our beautiful alpacas. The products for sale in our farm store includes a wide variety of yarns, roving, socks, hats, scarves, rugs and much more. The fiber mill is no longer taking new orders. We have taken this action so that we can get our backlog under control and ensure that we service our existing customers with pending orders.
